Leg 4 of 2020 Martinique Cata Raid has been one more opportunity to provide F18 Raid Worlds competitors with tense racing all along the course from Trinité to Prêcheur, with permanent cross-overs among the front fleet, top three finishers crossing the line within a fistfull of seconds.
Actually, the whole leg has been sailed downwind, putting front boats at risk to be overlapped by followers, sooner benefiting from gusts.
At this game, Gurvan Bontemps & Benjamin Amiot are certainly those with the bitter taste in their mouths, being the leaders all along the race, but falling into a dead calm zone a few miles before the finish, and being the last ones to sail out from this trap.

Boulogne brothers seized the opportunity given to them, finishing 10 seconds (!) ahead Cammas-Vandame, and 18 seconds (!) ahead Souben-Moreau, Marfaing-Boulogne Junior being fourth at 1 minute & 50 seconds.
