The regatta recently organised by YCA has been, with no question, a big success, and it is important to stress both the warm atmosphere reigning all along the event, as well the enthousiasm and dynamism of South American F18 sailors, this justifying by large, when even needed, the choice unanimously made by IF18CA to hold Worlds in Buenos Aires, rewarding then the faithful participation of Argentinian teams to our pinnacle event, mostly held in Europe.

2016 Worlds perfectly matched with F18 standards, mixing tight equipment control, tense and fair racing, as well friendly athmosphere ashore, thanks to the dedicated teams respectively lead by Pierre-Charles, Kiko and Pepe, not mentioning the fully involved YCA volunteers, employees and staff gathered by Marcel Bacqué, Regatta Chairman, around Freya and Nico.

Thanks to all participants for coming, and we do hope for welcoming you next year early July in Vallensbaek, Denmark.
