Formula 18 success in Finland

Formula 18 sailing took big steps in Finland during 2014 year.
In January, Henri Bryk took over the charge of National Association Chair from Karri Heliö, the new board of members of the Finnish national association aiming to continue to develop formula 18 sailing in their country, to promote quality in their actions, in both racing and training, and being prepared to put more effort in training and coaching sessions.
Nearly 50 people are currently enjoying the two hull sailing in Finland, 10 Finnish teams being already pre-registered to enter 2015 Worlds in Kiel.
Finland will organize Nordics F18 in 2016, and is planning to apply  for hosting 2018 F18 Worlds.
At this moment, we want to address big thanks to previous members of board for the job done, and especially to Janne “Pasteur” Riihelä who was the “pioneer” of Finnish formula 18 sailing, wishing the new team the best success for the coming years.
