19 teams took part at the Swedish Championship at Stora Vartan, Stockholm.
After two nice days of fantastic sailing and 9 sailed races, the newly-built F18 team John Back and Tomas Westergren (Akurra) won the gold with the smallest possible margin. one point ahead Lundqvist brothers (Akurra), the bronze going to Lars Linder and Erik Brunnberg (C2).
Best Mixed Team was Leff Dahl and Cissi Colling getting a solid 5th place among a very strong field of competitors
First day offered moderate but stable winds and sun, when Day 2 offered a fresh West that was over 20 knots ashore. Really nice F18 sailing.
Fredrik Karlsson and Rasmus Rosengren (who were in the top fight after day 1) started day 2 with a capsizing before the start that resulted in a broken mainsail, then dashing any chance for a medal.
