The 38th edition of the Eurocat, organised by the Carnac Yacht Club, ended this Sunday in capricious weather conditions.
First departure given at 10:00 am in 4 knots of wind, gradually rising to 10 knots, with frequent shifts and some rainy passages, before the sun imposes itself in the middle of the afternoon.
Four races were contested by all the series, offering competitors a beautiful sporting conclusion in demanding conditions.
In the F18 series, Damien Seguin and Youenn Muller (SNO Nantes / Sport Boat Regatta) win the race and achieve the double that was announced with their victory yesterday on the Grand Raid.
Next up are Ghislain Melaine and Lucas Le Bayon (EV Locquirec / ASNQ) and Nicolas Bouveyron and Vincent Cuvillier (Espace Voile Bréhal / ADGF Jullouville), who fought a fierce battle throughout the regatta.
