With three bullets in six races, team Van Dijk/De Waard succeeded in being one point ahead Demesmaeker/Tas, mixed crew Delnooz/Leeuwen winning race #6, securing 3rd place overall.
One more excellent and exciting racing day in Rade de Brest, where quite steady wind conditions (SSW 12 to 15 knots) did allow Race Officer to complete three more races, giving then the opportunity to all teams to discard their worst score.
Belgian and Dutch fellows keep on playing cat and mouse at the front of the fleet and, if positions have been reverted compared to yesterday, there is only only point difference on the score of the two contenders to European title … Might as well say that nothing is played yet, and that competition will remain more than close in the coming days.
It is to notice the jolly good performance of the mixed team compromised of Elke Delnooz and Jeroen van Leeuwen, getting third overall, as well the good position of first Junior team Ferrec/Delaplace, ranked fourth.
