You may know national governments proposed different answers to fight or contain Covid 19 pandemic and, as a result, our Scandinavian friends are facing travel restrictions, even between Nordic countries.
Following, it would be impossible for many sailors, including reigning Nordic Champions, to attend 2020 Nordic and Danish championships.
Although situation may change later in the summer, Aarhus Sailing volunteers and all participants shall be given the chance to make alternative plans, and F18 Denmark wisely and fairly decided to cancel/postpone the event scheduled in Aarhus 4-6 September.
Whatever, our Danish friends hope all their neighboring countries and Nordic friends will support a Danish Championship and Nordic Championship in 2021, and that Aarhus Sailing be able to host these events again in 2021.
