Friday January 22nd races at the F18 Australian Nationals started. Only one race could be sailed because of lack of wind. The Van Kerkhof brothers picked up an early left shift and were not seen again. Bret Burvil & Ryan Duffield sailed consistently into 2nd and Stephen Medwell, after an absence from the f18 scene for 7 years, came in 3rd. We are waiting for entrylist and results to be published.
Race conditions on Saturday are looking good. 20+ knots could make it possible to sail 5 races.
