After the survey conducted among US F18 members lead to a tie, the results of the electronic ballot held among International F18 Class Association World Council gave a two third majority to the bid presented by Red Gear Racing and the Clearwater Yacht Club.
15 of the 22 NCA members voted: 9 NCAs voted for Clearwater, 6 for Long Beach, and Clearwater got two thirds of the votes (48 to 24)
Congratulations to the winners, and a big thank you to Alamitos Bay Yacht Club for having submitted an excellent bid in such a short notice, not mentioning Steve Stroebel and US F18 Board for their hard work.
