Agustin Kreviski new ARG F18 President

We just learned Agustin Krevisky took over ARG F18 President position from Nicolas Vottero, rest of Board remaining the same.

Actually, Martin Vanzulli reported us Agustín Krevisky is a living legend in the sailing community in Argentina:

“Optimist Vice World Champion in 1990 in Portugal, and Optimist World Champion in 1991 in Greece, Agustín is part of the golden generation of Arg Opti sailors who dominated the Class from 1991 to 2001.

He start sailing F18 back in 2008 coming from Laser and never looked back. Now a double Argentine F18 National Champ and in 2019 Worlds held in Spain he finished 6th overall along Juan Martin Benitez with a chartered C2.

His commitment with the F18 Class is unsurpassed, traveling abroad each year, also locally in our racing season, 500kms each weekend from his hometown Paraná to Buenos Aires major regattas or sailing in Mar del Plata Sailing Week each year.

For us Arg F18 sailors its an honor to have him as President and it will be a model for the large Optimist fleets in Argentina to lookup for as where they should be sailing next.”

We can only thank Nicolas for the job done, and wish all the best to Agustin and ARG F18 Association for the near future.

Keep safe, and fingers crossed!
