No less than 96 teams pre-registered by Circolo Vela Arco to enter 2022 F18 Europeans.
Already a big success for the Class in both terms of participation and level. Beyond the high number of participants, most of the top teams from all around the world are converging towards Arco, North Garda Lake, for competing in a promising event.
One could see here many World or European Champions in various catamaran or dinghy classes, such as Mitch Booth and son Jordi (AUS), Agustin Krevisky and crew Juan Martin Benitez (ARG), Cruz Gonzalez Smith & Mariano Heuser (ARG), Patrick Demesmaeker & Gilles Tas (BEL), Helge & Christian Sach (GER), Brett Burvill & Max Puttmann (AUS), or Emmanuel Boulogne & Mathieu Marfaing (FRA).
Whatever the case, many will aim for the title…
So far, Circolo Vela Staff and volunteers provide their best to welcome competitors, and Equipment Inspection is well under way.
It is to notice that, entries being largely over 80 teams, the fleet will be seeded into two groups for qualification races, then into Gold and Silver fleets for the finals.
High temperature, fair breeze, and fresh water should provide superb conditions for a top class event.
