Stockholm Archipelago Raid 2016 registration starts on March 1st

Stockholm Archipelago Raid 2015-5686-2
The Swedish Formula 18 Association is on fire already about this years edition of the Stockholm Archipelago Raid. Make sure you write down all the dates and claim your slot in time.

This year the Stockholm Archipelago Raid will be held from Thursday 25th till Sunday 28th of August 2016. Traditionally the start and finish will be at the KSSS Saltsjöbaden near Stockholm. “Like last year the raid will be a 4-day event with boat speed, navigation skills and endurance as key success factors. However the three base camps are different this year and the ambition is to locate some check points on places far out where no F18 fleet has ever passed before! We aim for an even more spectacular event than last years success”, comments Lars Linder.

“Start and finish will be at the KSSS club in Saltsjöbaden, only 30 minutes from Stockholm City. Sailors coming from other places who wish to stay and rent a cabin or house in the archipelago before or after the race are advised to contact the race organisation who is more than happy to help with logistics or accommodation. In this way you can take full advantage of the bright Swedish summer nights!”

Save the dates and claim your slot when registration starts 1st of March! Make sure you follow the official event Facebookpage to stay updated. All general information can be found on the official website. If you would like to see a photo impression of the 2015 edition please have a look here.
