There is a tight battle between Rosengren/Westergren (SWE 7) and Dahl/Boden (SWE 2). Also another Swedish team with Karlsson/Nordblom (SWE 1914) showed up in the top 3 while Larsen/Larsen (NED 1912) and Almstedt/Seifert (SWE 768) had crossing tacks and swapping positions every minute.

Lars Linder: “Conditions were great on Friday with some increasing breeze. Till we had lunch it was a nice and easy, but after that the wind increased to 20+ knots. This forced us to change the course and sail a day earlier to Sandhamn in a nice champagne upwind for ~35 NM.”

_MG_9366The skippers meeting on Saturday is currently postponed till 14:00 because of high winds (22 knots/gusting up to 30 knots). If there’s no option to sail the sailors can already focus on a nice event tonight: on Saturday there’s a sailors dinner & party on a private island (owned by the KSSS sailing club) near Sandhamn.

For Sunday the weather looks stable and friendly with ~10 knots. Check the live updates from the water & onshore here! (by Hartas Productions)
