Brett Burvill & Max Puttman successfully defended their title during Australian 2020 F18 Catamaran National Championship held in Lauderdale, Tasmania.
“Fun event in very challenging conditions with 5-25 kts and more along with big wind shifts and areas less wind that just appeared and dispersed without any warning” Brett commented. “Good hit out for a start to the 2020 sailing with Max Puttman on the F18 and Tornado after we hadn’t sailed together since last July in Spain”.
Pretty good series for Brett & Max with five bullets, one 2nd, and two 3rd on 12 sailed races, ending with 28 net points, clearly ahead a tight group of three, Brett Goodall & Lachie White, 42 points, Beau White & Tristan White, 43 points, and Gavin Parker & Dan Brown 47 points.
Definitely a success for Australian F18 fleet, with 29 entries, and congrats to Lauderdale Yacht Club for a perfect organization.
