From YCC Press release
On this first day of the 37th edition of Eurocat, the 110 registered crews were able to make the most of the Quiberon bay. Under a beautiful sun the sailors were able to meet, fine-tune the last adjustments and finalize their registration.
The 10 to 15 knots of wind allowed Patrick Longuet and Guy Toureaux, Race Officers, to start two races for all series.
A wonderful day of sport that ended with an opening ceremony during which the teams of YC Carnac and Damien Seguin, the sponsor of the 2025 edition, welcomed the competitors and wished them a nice regatta.
Ravi Parent et Lena Weisskichel:
“We come from the United States and Germany and we are together in life and on the water! We met when we were sailing on Nacra 17. This is the first time we have participated in Eurocat. We came to prepare for the World Championship following the advice of Victorien Erussard and Fred Moreau. Our training partners, the Australians Galvin Colby and Kai Colman, could be there as well, so it’s perfect for us. We are delighted to be here, the place is beautiful and we were able to see the Ultim at La Trinité-sur-Mer, it was great! “
