DANA leaves Spanish Catamaran Championship desert…

Spanish Catamaran Championship was scheduled from 12 to 15 September, but the “DANA”, Depresión Aislada en Niveles Altos (Isolated Depression in High Levels), resulted in very bad weather and an unserviceable race course.

Organisers just about to display AP ashore…

One attempt was made on Saturday with 4 boats on the water, with no success, so this was not enough to be called a Championship, hence our Spanish friends preferred to better call it “Desert”…

Time for parking talks…

Whatever, F18 Spain sincerely thanked Pobla Marina for its organization both on land and on water, and thanked the sailors as well, who travelled from their clubs and who finally could not do what they like the most, racing.

Let’s cross fingers and wish Spanish sailors to have a great Cup and Championship next year!
