Thirteen teams entered 2025 Stockholm Archipelago Raid : ten Swedish teams, one team from Germany, one from New Zealand and one team from Australia. Several real experienced old foxes in the group, but also some new faces.
Leg 1
Sailors, officials, pack; everything was wet already on shore but just in time for the start the rain had subsided.
12 boats started by 7-10 m/s. SWE 007 took the start and soon the fleet was divided into three groups. The starting boat managed the impossible by attaching the anchor to a pipeline and therefore had to sacrifice the anchor.
15 minutes after the start all teams were in Baggenstäket. Alternating tacks and paddling through the strait. Then off-wind and gusty conditions.

The teams: SWE 007, 111, 363, AUS 800, changed their positions between the first two SWE 007 and 111 and then 363 and AUS 800 in exciting gybe duels through Skurusundet.

The spread of the fleet as a whole was large between Skurusundet and Vaxholm. Some capsizes happened, including SWE 888 who postponed the race due to a broken spi pool.
At 12.30 the first finish was on Sandön. Placements 1,2,3 position: SWE 007, 111, AUS 800. After about 21 Nm it was time for beach lunch in a variation of wet and grey shades.

Leg 2
Only 10 teams came to start, SWE 78 being DNS.
Wind conditions about 7-12 m/s. Upwind start, team AUS 800 first crossing the line. The fleet sailed via Stavsudda, west of Svartsö and finishing north of Grinda.
After about 20 Nm, Team AUS 800 finished just before 111, at 16.25.
