Three wins in a row
Three legs and three bullets! Nothing seems to be able to stop Emeric Dary and David Fanouillère who yesterday won the third and longest leg of the Costarmoricaine.
It only took them 4h 19 minutes and 57 seconds to swallow the 47 miles of the course between Perros-Guirec and Roselière buoy, close to Plérin Tournemine Beach.
Best operation of the day for Matteo Chevrier and Gaspard Cosse

At the end of this third course, the longest of the thirty-year old raid, French leaders crossed the line almost 11 minutes ahead of Matteo Chevrier and Gaspard Cosse, followed by Augustin and Timothée Masurel who arrived a little bit more than 4 minutes later.

Looking at the overall standings, and thanks to the lead taken during the first two legs, Cedric Fleury and Nicolas Ploe now cling onto third place with a race time of 11 hours 18 09, four minutes behind Matteo Chevrier and Gaspard Cosse, second with 11h 14 07 while Emeric Dary and David Fanouillière increase their lead with a cumulative race time of 10 hours 42 and 8 seconds.

« It was the longest leg of the raid, it had started in light breeze, then the wind rose quite strongly. It proved the competitors’ arms and the equipment well with quite a few small breaks,” summarizes Olivier Bovyn, organizer and PRO of the event.
Nothing serious however and the fleet will be able to head back to Erquy on Saturday 2 August for a fourth leg that promises very tight competition between the leaders in the standings.
