The Centomiglia del Garda is much more than a race; it is an experience that combines sport, entertainment and tradition in one of the most evocative places in Italy. For more than seven decades, this iconic event has attracted sailors and enthusiasts from all over the world, creating a unique atmosphere of competition and celebration.
Schedule
The 75th Centomiglia Internazionale del Garda will be held this year on the dates of 6/7 September 2025: the Gargnano Trophy will be held on 6 September and the R. Gorla Trophy on 7 September.
The new format of the historic regatta, which has reached its 75th edition this year, is evolving, combining its heritage with innovation to involve an increasing number of sailors and enthusiasts.
The “Line of Honour” award, awarded to the first arrivals in real time, will remain a distinctive element of the competition. The goal will be to make the Centomiglia an increasingly inclusive event, where everyone can fully live the unique experience of sailing in the waters of Lake Garda, without feeling excluded from the competition from the start.
The Double Handed classification will also be introduced, as in the great international classics, to offer a challenge even to small crews. Next to the Centomiglia will run in the same dates the Multicento, regatta reserved for multihulls.
Multicento
The Multicento will be held in conjunction with the 75 Centomiglia along the same routes: can participate all multi-boats with a length of more than 18 feet with at least 2 crew members. Saturday evening there will be an evening party in the square of Bogliaco while the awards ceremony will take place on Sunday afternoon.
