Superb sailing conditions in Jervoise Bay for Day One at Worlds.
One could have not expected better wind conditions to start 2026 F18 Worlds perfectly organized by Jervoise Bay Sailing Club.
First race started in the morning by 10 knots, steadily increasing up to 18 knots at the end of Race 3, with no big waves, under bright sun and hot temperature (36+ degrees Celsius), allowing tense and fair competition for the 75 registered teams, and forcing Race Officer to display the Black Flag to get clear starts…

Close to perfect score for Brett Burvill and Max Puttman
In these conditions, Brett Burvill and Max Puttman do realise a quasi-flawless series, scoring two bullets and one second, 10 points ahead the group of Cruz Gonzalez Smith / Stephan Dekker (ARG/NED), 14 points, Gavin Colby / Kai Colman (AUS), 15 points, Brin & Jake Lidell (AUS), 17 points, Darren Bundock / Glenn Ashby (AUS), 18 points, and Matt Homan / Kris Bilston (AUS), 20 points.

One can then find Two US and one NED boat in a second group, scoring from 28 to 38 points.

Too early to bet on final results, but Australian domination do confirm overall ranking in Noordwijk 2025.
Tom Bojland & Charlotte Engelsen (DEN), First Masters

A perfecly managed and friendly event
