Following World Council decision made on 23 April 2025, retaining Multilario bid as prefered venue, International F18 Class President seized the opportunity of Italian Nationals sailed in Gravedona, Como Lake, to meet Consorzio Multilario Executive members for preparing 2026 European Championships to be held in Dervio, 3-10 July.
Consorzio Multilario
Lario was the former name of Lake Como. Hence Consorzio Multilario is the union of six sailing clubs located around Como Lake, all official members of the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV), joining their forces to build up top National or International Championships. See presentation video.

- AVAL ASD Associazione Velica Alta Lario, Gravedona
- CVD Centro Vela Dervio ASD, Dervio
- CVB Circolo Vela Bellano ASD, Bellano
- LNI-MI Gruppo Dilettantistico Vela L.N.I., Dervio
- Orza Minore La Vela Come La Immagino SSD, dervio
- Marvella SSD, Dongo
Preparation meeting
Preparation meeting has been held in Centro Vela Dervio Club House, together with Antonella Maccari, Consorzio Multilario President, and Antonio Cozzoli, Centro Vela Dervio President. Schedule, registration, entry fees, accomodation and parking issues have been discussed, and common aim from OA is to issue Notice of Race by mid-December 2025.

Boatpark & facilities
Similar to 1998 & 2007 editions, European event will use the facilities of the three clubs located in Dervio to park boats and trailers, three ramps being available for launching.
Large grass fields will ease boats berthing after those passing through Equipment Inspection stations.

Opening & Prize Giving ceremonies
Public park close to the lake will be used for both Opening & Prize Giving ceremonies.
