A look back at last weekend’s CANF18 regatta in Ottawa!
The weekend kicked off with a performance clinic for participants and club members, courtesy of CAN F18 President Olivier Pilon.
The regatta
On Saturday, conditions were capricious: 6 to 8 knots from the north, with big changes in direction and pressure. Despite this, and several buoy adjustments later, the teams managed to complete 3 races.
On Sunday, the wind proved more cooperative (even if it was still playing yo-yo with the pressure), which enabled us to complete 5 races, for a total of 8 over the weekend.
Well done to all the teams who took part !
And thanks to Nepean Sailing Club and their team of volunteers for hosting the first round of the season.
